Modeling and control of PEM fuel cells

The research goals are focused on modelling and control of high temperature PEM fuel cells, specifically, in obtaining detailed, distributed parameter models to describe the power generation and the heat flow of these systems, and then extracting reduced order versions to design and implement controllers that improve the efficiency and durability of the system.
